Last year, the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) organized the Rizal Park’s first-ever Halloween event, titled, FRIGHT NIGHT. It was held at the Children’s Playground Activity Center, with the participation of children from Virlanie Foundation and Childhope Asia, as well as park goers. There was a mini-party for the kids and a competition for the best dressed Halloween character. This year, the fright continues as we present, HAUNTED: A Halloween Special at the Park, in partnership with the Prestige Cruises, PIK Events, and Art Association of the Philippines (AAP).
Recognizing the importance of sustainability, people of all ages are invited to come and wear their most terrifying look and creative costume made from reused/recycled materials. Join our Zumba Zombies: The Dancing Dead Edition and get a chance to win two (2) Manila Bay Buffet Dinner Cruise Gift Certificates. Roam around the park via the haunted tranvia while listening to the Musical Dancing Fountain’s thrilling music. Visit our haunted stations inside the Kanlungan ng Sining and meet with the creatures of the dark, from Dracula to Sadako. As part of the event, the AAP will be launching an art exhibit dubbed as, “Ka-Horroran”, at the Kanlungan ng Sining Art Gallery, which will run until November 2, 2014.
