Sibul Nature Resort is now one of the top resorts in
the town of Abucay, and even Bataan in general.
Despite being a resident of Bataan, I must admit that it’s
my first time to experience Sibul Nature Resort.
The resort is located in Dominican Hills Gabon, Abucay, Bataan, just along
the Roman Highway.
It was popularly known as “Sibul Spring” because according
to the residents, back then it was just a single small spring free for use in
which one will only have to pay for the parking space then enjoy the fresh
water of natural spring.
But due to increasing demand, the Municipal Hall of Abucay decided to develop and modernize the spring by creating swimming pools, constructing cottages, accommodations for overnight stays and improve its facilities.
But due to increasing demand, the Municipal Hall of Abucay decided to develop and modernize the spring by creating swimming pools, constructing cottages, accommodations for overnight stays and improve its facilities.
But despite the said developments, the old Sibul Spring was retained and still remained to sustain and supply water for the pools.
It was called Sibul Spring back then by the locals of the town. Sibol/sibul, a tagalog word describing the continuous emergence of water from the ground.
However, the natural spring now was sheltered and
protected to prevent people from dipping.
The water is just so cold and refreshing plus the trees
surrounding the pool area which creates a fresh ambiance as you dip.
The all natural and chlorine-free water from the spring is believed to alleviate muscle pains because of its
sulfuric contains.
There are cottages available depending on the number of
company.
Rooms for overnight stays are also available ranging from Php
2,000-3000.
