10 Things We Learned During UP Hell Week

mainroadventures.wordpress.com
Hell Week is an event that every UP Student--every student, rather--has to go through. We literally have to shed blood, sweat, and tears for every requirement that must be finished. Now that it is finally over...actually, it is not yet over. Why? Because I am sure some of us still have to go through finals week! But not to worry, I am sure after years of education and going through hell week... we all end up learning something. I mean, that's the point of school right? All right here we go:

1.) Sleep is not for the weak It's for the strong. For me, sleep is considered as a reward for all the hard work I did. The feeling of finally closing your eyes is great. Admit it.

2.) Suffering is inevitable And it happens in real life. We all went through that stage wherein we end up doing all of our work on the day before (like this blog for example. Haha!). Because of that, we cry and we suffer. But it's not a bad thing. Why? Well, it does not really kill you...it makes you stronger (isn't that a song?).

3.) Hell Week is not just a week It can take as long as a month or a year...depending on your workload, that is.

4.) Do not overthink Just because it is called Hell Week, it does not automatically mean that what you're doing is physically impossible. It just so happens that you just go a lot of things to do all at the same time (okay, maybe that does sound impossible).

5.) Think the Unthinkable Sometimes desperate times calls for desperate measures.

6.) Expect Nothing Never expect to fail. Never expect to pass either. Just do what you have to do.

7.) Prepare for the Worst It's Hell Week...anything can still happen

8.) Hope for the Best Because why not right?

9.) Binge Eat Not being able to eat during Hell Week is not necessarily true. Don't be afraid to grab some Cup Noodles whilst reviewing for a test.

10.) It's not the end It's the beginning. Dundundun!
