Disneyland is definitely not your typical theme park. At every corner, there's a surprise of some sort. Even the rides that appear to be only enjoyable to young kids have their own element of surprise, and even adults would be caught off guard.
The highlight for me was my experience of the Mystic Manor and the Mickey’s PhilharMagic. These two rides seemed harmless at first, but countless of times I found myself screaming from surprise, and just dumbfounded at how amazing the effects are. That was the first time that I was able to experience light and video effects that way and for me it was a proof of the brilliance of the human mind, the capability of the human mind to create such technological illusions.
I only regret not trying the more thrilling rides. My friends were not particularly fond of the idea of trying out the scary rides. As a result, the only one that I got to try was the RC Racer and that was only because I forced my friends to get on it. After their experience with the RC Racer, they became even more firm with their decision to try only the ‘kiddie’ rides.
