MUSMOSYALAN

Musmosyalan, coined from the words “musmos” and “pasyalan,” is an annual charity excursion project of the UP Travel Society. This project fulfills the organization’s objective to extend travel opportunities to less fortunate children.

Last December 9, 2013, we took a few kids from He Cares Foundation to Malolos, Bulacan for a day filled with games, activities and workshops.

And to make the trip more meaningful, the members gave the children some basic swimming lessons. Not only did they have fun on their trip, but they also brought something new with them home.

The kids also got to play classic Pilipino games with their ate's and kuya's. It was nice watching the children laugh and and run around to their heart's content.

There is nothing more heartwarming than being able to bring such sweet and warm smiles on the faces of children. Traveling is very gratifying. And so is making other people happy. But do both on the same day, and you're sure to have your heart full and about to burst with happiness :)
